Short Bytes: Microsoft has announced a new edition of Windows 10. I have a two separate lists of keys for Pro and Pro Workstation. Given we have Enterprise I can image with it and still have compatibly with the Xeons. If you are running an organization of substantial size, there are features in the Windows 10 Enterprise that will be useful for you.

I don't particularly care for the Dell utilities. Roboto wrote: Thanks Chris, but as I have mentioned in the replies to NathM, thats not the desired solution. I can just change the key to Pro for Workstations. I don't know if its in the Media Creation Tool Download.

how to install and download the new windows 10 pro workstation

I just received a large order of Dell Precision Workstations with Windows 10 Pro for Workstations. Not one of these came with the installation media as specified in my quote request. My fault for double checking that line item before the order was finalized. Its also noted on the invoice. The Volume License is only a licensing loophole to allow you to create your own images. What I am getting is Windows 10 Pro. I find it hard to believe that I am the only one who performs clean installs on all new equipment. What Dell junk are you referring to. The only stuff they would come with is. Roboto wrote: Thanks Chris, but as I have mentioned in the replies to NathM, thats not the desired solution. If you do not like the Dell system utility, just uninstall it or hide it from the toolbar. I know its a dumb thing as for every order of 20 units, I would order 3 units with media and 17 without media. I sent the quote request as a saved cart with the media included. My account rep told me it should have been included, it was not. Dell is picking up the slack for them once again and I am currently working with Justin on a resolution. All I want is to be able to install the software I paid for. I shouldnt even need the physical disk from Dell. I am not looking for a workaround. That may sound crazy, but that how I roll. I document everything and everything has to be done to the T. Roboto wrote: I have used clonezilla countless times, Its a wonderful utility. The Windows 10 Education is targeted majorly at the educators. For an average consumer with less demanding daily tasks, upgrading might not make much difference. I know its a dumb thing as for every order of 20 units, I would order 3 units with media and 17 without media. All I want is to be able to install the software I paid for. There are a lot of newly introduced security features in the new operating system that can help your business in preserving and managing important data and information.
